My thoughts go out to Brett’s family during this difficult time. I knew Brett through his daughter Khyara. I remember Brett accompanying us to Splendour one year. We were in the mosh pit and the crowd started pushing us against the fence and it started to fall down. Brett was yelling at people to stop pushing as there were young girls at the front that were going to be crushed if the fence gave out. The crowd stopped pushing and he got us out of the danger zone. I’m sure this is just one example of many, of Brett stepping in to save the day. He was a great man.
Deepest Condolences to Brett's family and friends
Brett was a good bloke and I have fond memories of hanging out with him in Byron back in the day with his lovely dog Jake (Moose). Very sad that he is gone so young. Brett was a good Dad and Grandad. RIP Brett
Bretto, what a great loss that a man as genuine as you, has left us all, and moved on. You are one of the nicest people I have ever gotten to know. I know we haven't had much contact since working together in Byron Bay 25 years ago. We still managed to chat a couple of times a year, the odd fishing trip or spending time together in Asia. We always had plenty laughs together.
I'm going to miss you buddy.
Your old mate Wazrok
