I feel so lucky to have been able to share a small part of the incredible life Ken lived, thoruhg being a school friend of John. David's poem was exceptional and for me personally I have many similar memories to the ones he shared. Even including the wonder of the laundry chute. Thank you Ken and all your family.
Uncle Ken, a beautiful man, a wonderful friend, brother and law and uncle. We are sorry we can't be there today to celebrate your life with Aunty Rosemary and family. Thinking of you all in this very sad time. Rest in peace Uncle Ken. xxx
I am so sorry that I have lost my big brother Ken. You have been my big brother for all of my 96 years. We enjoyed many outings to Manly Beach staying with grandma Hardwicke, walking the bush trails in Katoomba during our intermediate year at school, walking me down the aisle at Stanmore church at my wedding to Phil and the many card games of 500 that we enjoyed over the years.
We have both outlived all of our forebears and as long as I keep living, I will never forget my big brother, Ken.
From your little sister, Noelene
