Beautiful service for a well respected man

My thoughts are with his family and Byron Bay Friends today.
Garry and I went to MHS together and we share the same Birth Date.
He was a cheeky character even back them.
His class mates from then all send their thoughts and sympathy. He will always be remembered

I will miss our phonecalls dear cousin and I am so so sad that we will not get to have those "catch-ups" that we talked about.I was deeply touched by the words of your friends during the service today, describing your kindness, and genuine friendship. I also enjoyed hearing about the fun loving larikin that I remember also run in your dad's blood. Rest easy until we meet again. 🕊️

Thanks for all the advice, assistance and most importantly all the laughs. We worked at several sheds together and I always knew that if you were at the shed then things would be done right and the time there would be entertaining.

Garry was one of the best male role models I ever had, he showed me that kindness and hard work mean something in this world. He treated me like I was apart of his family even when I was struggling through my strangest and darkest times growing up. He showed me that we are never too late to change our ways or try a different path, which he showed me through his actions and his heartfelt words. I wish I had told him all of this when he was still here with us, which is a reminder for us all

We are going to miss "Davo" and his regular chats and witty conversation. We have many precious memories and are thinking of the family and extend our deepest sympathy. Sorry we can't be there today. The days always seemed to go quicker when working with "Davo".

Thanks mate for the good times especially At Charleville and many other places, your great sense of fun and careing for your work mates will never be forgotten. Gary Lovel

I’m a Meat Inspector in Scone and worked with Davo a lot when he travelled down.
Such an amazing man, kind, friendly and just a really good bloke.
My thoughts are with all of his family and friends. So sad to lose such an amazing person.
