Uncle Gary was a much loved and cherished member of our family. As a child, he and Aunty Pam took my sister and I to the Easter Show, allowed us to sit in the back seat during their 'dates' to the drive-in theatre, and responded with humour when I photo-bombed their wedding photos. Uncle Gary was generous with both his affection and time, and was happiest when he was doing something to help another person. I will always remember him with love, respect and admiration.

I will always remember Uncle Gary’s deep devotion to his beloved wife, my Aunty Pam. Their life together was marked by love, partnership and curiosity about the world. They shared a passion for travel, and would bring my sister Steph and I back a t-shirt from every place they visited. Uncle Gary would tell stories about those trips long after they returned with joy and excitement. His love for his family and for life will never be forgotten.

A beautiful service to remember a beautiful person! Such amazing pictures of Uncle Gary's great adventures, and life of happiness with his treasured (Aunty) Pam and family. Uncle Gary was so generous with all of his nieces. I have great memories of visiting Aunty Pam and Uncle Gary at the beach in Nambucca. They enjoyed fantastic adventures overseas, and always remembered us with treats from countries far away when they would visit in Sydney.

I have very fond memories of Uncle Gary. As a child he always teased me about my many freckles. I remember watching the Sydney to Hobart yacht race with him every Boxing Day - he always sat on our lounge room floor. Going fishing with him and my father. The love he shared with and his devotion to my Aunty Pam and seeing the many photos from their overseas trips. The way he loved to talk and the way he loved to laugh. His kind and generous nature.
