Yet another of those who would not be here without Paul in my life. His words and actions worked for me and for this I will be eternally in his debt. A rare human, childish and wizened. A cheeky grin, and antics to back up that up. Even when honest in counselling his words were always couched in care, couched in Love. He stays in mind and heart a classy gent who will not be forgotten. Love and kind thoughts to family. Sadly in NZ so couldn't be there. xx

I hadn't seen Paul a lot over recent years but it was always good to spend time with him. One of the nicest, most honest people I've ever known. It's sad knowing that I won't run into him anymore.
My condolences and love to you all.

My kindred spirit, my true friend, may your atoms find peace and your soul find laughter. You have been part of the daily fabric of my life, and I will miss you dearly and remember you always. My life is richer for having known you, and been known by you. My heart to your family and friends in loss.

I watched the beautiful send-off for Paul on my phone here in the bush. So many people with so many stories, both funny & heart-warming. He touched so many lives with his brilliant sense of humour & love. May his soul rest in eternal peace & love. 🩷

I have feelings of gratitude, memories of fondness and regrets about not keeping in touch more often over the years with Paul - one of the most lovely male human beings I’ve known in my entire life. Much love to all who knew and loved him. XXX

Will be sadly missed, such empathy and compassion was so needed when I arrived at the halfway house and was so instrumental in my journey of recovery. Fly with the angels

My loving friend Paul.
Thank you for sharing the kindness, sweetness, generosity and sensitivity of your heart, for your creativity and amusing conversations, for the sweet good mornings, morning flowers, and warm sunsets.
I will remember you under the moonlight and on rainy days.
May your soul find the destiny of those who leave this world with love and gratitude about those who knew you.
I keep you in my heart like a precious treasure, until we meet again.
I love you very much

Lismore won't be the same without Paul. I will always remember his ever kind greeting. He had a way of making a simple "hey" sound affectionate. I feel blessed to have known him for about 30 years. Always a regular at Union St. when I visited. Such an amazing best friend and partner to Mel. He was ever constant, ever kind, and compassionate. A life rope for my sister. And just an amazing human. I will miss you dear Paul. Travel well in the next life. My deepest sympathies for Remi
